I set up a network in my home with two XP machines (one
HE, one PE) and a W2K laptop. Internet connection is
through a broadband firewall router. All was well until I
tried sharing a folder on a the HE machine, and
accidently set off the home network wizard.
I stumbled through that, and ended up with bridged
connections to unsed adapters. I deleted the bridge. The
firewall is turned off.
Only problem is if I select Client for Microsfot Networks
and enble file & print sharing, I get a message
saying "Your Current Selections will disable" those
settings, which it does.
Any suggestions? This seems nuts.
