Network bridge removal

I have two computers on which I want to create a network, share a printer and
some files. Operating systems are XP home and XP. On the machine with XP,
there are two network bridges. They create a conflict that does not allow me
to connect like I have experienced in other networks. I could not find a way
to unistall the bridges, so I unistalled the network adaptars, restarted the
machine. Upon checking Network connections, the bridges were not there. And
the connection worked great. HOWEVER, within a few minutes the bridges were
back and the connection would not work.

Any suggestions?

Steve;
Thanks a bunch. I came to the conclusion that I needed to go at this problem
from the computer running XP Pro. Once I did that, it took care of the bridge
problem and now the sharing works like we need it to.

And from the knowledge base, I now know the bridge creation is a function of
XP. I don't recall having the choice about the "bridge" as described in the
article, but it must be there and I am not seeing it.

Thanks..
