crashing

i am having trouble ddoing anything on my computer. it starts up and runs the
virus scan and then i cannot close anything or click on anything. it keeps
telling me my computer is infected but the virus scan finds no viruses. if
anyone can help it would be appreciated

You need to give some details if you want some help.

Does your virus program have a name? Have you updated the virus definitions?
Have you got and ran updated anti-spyware programs.
What is the 'it' telling you the computer is infected?
