crashing games

hi i have downloaded alot of game demos from mostly nvidia's nzone and easports
and they install fine play fine for about 5-10mins and then they just freeze
i get no reaction at all i have to keep resetting the computer to get it to
work again what can be causing this?

no there not old games there games like fifa 2005 halo2 tm sunrise which arnt
old few months at most
