My system crashes & I usually get an error message device driver problem,
once it was a graphics decice driver problem & once microsoft did not know
the cause. I have 1GM memory & I sent microsoft crash anaylsis the memory
dump, it took 7 hours! I have not received a reply. This seems to happen once
in awhile; except when I scan for virius's with Norton 2004. Then it happens
every time I try a full scan. If I scan 1 disk at a time or memory scan- it
does not crasy. I uninstalled norton & installed Panda antivirus; same
problem. I removed programs one at a time, same problem. I then reformated &
reinstalled Windows XP Pro & Norton 2004- Same Problem. I don't know where to
go from here. I need helo. Thanks, John

If you reinstalled Windows from scratch and the problem persists that would
indicate it's a hardware problem. Have you upgraded something like a video
card or memory lately? Some details and history of the hardware on your
computer would help with a diagnosis. Also remove Norton and substitute a
different AV for now, like AVG
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/us/tpl/tpl01 .. Without more details my
guess would be that you have mismatched memory modules or that a video card
is not supported by your BIOS version.

It seems to be a hardware related problem.Check your graphic card.
