Crashes - Reboots

Jason Schoppert

Hello everyone,

I have 2 identical custom machines that have the same problem. The machines
will at random reboot, and when the desktop comes back up it either comes up
with "Windows has recovered from a serious error" or "Error caused by a
device driver". I have tried the online diagnostics ... which are useless,
and I have called some friends to see what they thought, everyone is drawing
a blank. It does this with XP Pro SP1a and SP2. The only thing I can
figure is that its a problem with McAfee 7.1 ePO. Has anyone else had this
problem? If you need more information please let me know, I have a
screenshot and error logs from the latest crash.

Thanks,
Jason Schoppert

Without specific information it's a shot in the dark but you can probably
troubleshoot the problem yourself by using "WinDbg" or "Dumpchk.exe." You
could also uninstall McAfee just to see the effects then use a more stable
anti-virus from avast or trend micro.
