Crash On Save in WMM - Error is QVD.dll ??? Help

I am trying to save files from WMM. The program crashes on save. The error report states

Faulting application Explorer.ex
Faulting module qdv.dl

Any clues on how to fix this

That's the DirectShow video codec.. have you updated DirectX?

Thanks for your reply. I reinstalled Direct X. I was optimistic the problem was solved. The program gave me an error message relating to WMM..
