crash during sp2 removale

After tring 2 delete SP2(causing it 2 crash every 5
minutes)Itried 2 uninstall it.Half way thru it crashed
(BSOD).Now it doesn't crash anymore but.....SP2 still
shows(wasn't fully deleted),and the task bar won't
show,no start button(Until I check auto hide then uncheck
it then it comes up)OE and IE6 connect only half the
time,when I try to burn a backup the program says corrupt
file,it won't let me delete it,or anything via add/remove
even in safe mode.When I try to reload a program it says
installer corrupt will not be installed.Ok Q: how do I
fully remove SP2 now,and how do I get services to start
to work.I understand it's my computer manufacturers fault
for not having the updates for SP2 for me till after the
problem(and the remove SP2 was a bad idea from them,which
I paid for-TWICE).When it crashed it was on turnong off
services.I would be happy to just get my burner to
work,and back-up(just need 1 weeks worth)what I need,then
I can format it and do a clean install(where I can now
get the updates for the machine before downloading
SP2.Thanks for all help,and ideas.

Ya i have the same problem as you. But i cant access any
program that is related to windows (media player, system
restore, microsoft word, ect.) And i dont have any sound.
I tried to reinstall windows but nothing happend. after
the process was done i rebooted and it was exactly the
same. Grrrrrr. Plus it takes like 15 minutes to start
windows and stuff. I dont have a start menu or taskbar
either. And most of my programs dont work. Basically i
have a computer that i cant use. Oh ya, and i cant click
and drag anything. AND i have to right click on a picture
or file to get it to realize that i clicked on
it............Grrrrrrr
some many things wrong and so little knowleg of how to
fix it. I really need to get my comp working so if anyone
can help thanks......

I've fixed it LOL!!!!! safe mode,burnt my backups of
everything(My computer>control panel>taskbar and start
menu icon>show quick launch,will get the start button and
taskbar working).Formated the drive,and reinstalled XP
clean,downloaded the updates from my computer
manufacturer,loaded the backup's,turned off auto update
(I'm afraid still of SP2)(think i'll wait a couple of
weeks,this has been very tring time for me this
weekend).Hope something works for you Anon.
