Hi,
I'm experiencing extremely poor CPU performance when in design view for a
somewhat complex report based on a crosstab query. The report has no
formulas on the surface, although it does have some line drawing VB code on
its On Page event. Every move I make in design view is painfully slow -- I'm
talking 10-15 seconds to resize a label, nudge a text box... anything and
everything takes forever. In my Windows Task Manager, it shows CPU Usage
pegged at 100% everytime I do anything in this report's design. The report
itself doesn't take very long to run. But I'm going to have a heart attack
waiting for every move I make. Any ideas of why this might be happening?
It's not happening on any other reports or forms in this db, or in any other
application on my PC ( Dell Latitude C610
Pentium III processor; 996 MHz; 512 MB Ram).
TIA for any ideas,
Steve Vincent
