Access 2007 slow designing forms and reports

Access 2007 is painfully slow designing forms and reports. It takes to long
to view reports. Moving between fields in design mode takes several seconds.

1) Have you installed Office 2007 SP1?

2) Are you in a FE/BE situation? If so try opening a table and
leaving it open all the time. If that helps then you really want to
open a form which is bound to a recordset at all times.
