cpu information and server freezes

I have a windows 2000 server that is running an old database application. I
have been having the server suddenly freeze without warning and appears to be
no error messages in the event logs, it basically randomly freezes and I am
having to reboot the server each time. The only event logs I am getting at
times are some information regarding the processors. Following is the event :

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Application Popup
Event Category: None
Event ID: 41
Date: 8/16/2005
Time: 8:25:49 AM
User: N/A
Computer: DELL_SERVER
Description:
The CPUs in this multiprocessor system are
not all the same revision level. To use all
processors the operating system restricts
itself to the features of the least capable
processor in the system. Should problems
occur with this system, contact the CPU
manufacturer to see if this mix of
processors is supported.
Data:
0000: 00 00 00 00 01 00 d4 00 ......Ô.

0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........

Any ideas of the freezing and could the above event have any thing to do
with the server locking up.

Thanks for any help.

Well - what's the word on the processors? Are they indeed unmatched? What
happens if you disable or remove one?
