Couple of weird problems

Hi there, I was hoping to get some advice for my PC here, Im running XP and
I have a couple of strange issues.

Firstly when browsing my documents if I go into certain folders I get a
message saying Windows has had to close the program Windows Explorer and the
PC will often lock up.

Secondly (and far less of an issue) is that when my windows open online they
are about 95% of the screen, bever maximised, is there a way to set all
windows to open maximised?

If IE is working properly it will remember the settings of the last window
closed. If you maximize a window and close it, future windows should open
maximized.

You could try moving the location of your My Documents folder.

Right click on the folder "My Documents" and go to Properties. Click on the
"Move..." button and choose another folder on the hard drive by going "My
Computer", Selecting the Hard Drive [Probably C], and clicking "Make New
Folder." Name it whatever you want.

Note that doing this might make your documents a little less secure.
However, you can always locate the folder on the hard drive, go to it's
properties [right click on it and choose properties], select the "Sharing"
tab, and click on the checkbox "Make this folder private."

Reply and say if this does or doesn't work.
