Could someone help with Network Problem??

I have 4 computers networked in my home.
About 2 weeks ago i installed AVG Firewall ,, i lost contact with 3 of
the computers from my main computer ,, i couldn't see them , they
couldn't see me.
I couldn't get AVG to let the other computers to be seen or to allow them
to see mine , so i uninstalled AVG , but i still can't get the other
computers to see the main computer ,,, they see each other no problem but
i can't see any of them.

I've ran the network setup on all the computers again , but to no avail.

Any suggestions?? I've also checked the permissions but nothing.

Also looking in the network connections my computer plus two others show
an internet gateway / internet connection in the network connections ,
but the fourth doesn't have this in the connections. Should this be here?
how do i go about closing all the internet / network connections to each
computer and start fresh???

Please help ,, the others are starting to scream at me to get this fixed
as they need some files on my computer.

To uninstall,simply run add/remove programs,remove software.If its not
listed,
open device mgr,scroll to network hardware,expand the tree,R.click each,one
at
a time,select uninstall,do not restart pc,close out when thru,shutdown
pc.XP will
reinstall on restart.Also,you might 1st,simply reinstall
software/drivers,you might
after,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:netsh Winsock reset Type:EXIT When
thru,also,chk add remove windows components,chk all boxes for internet.....
