Could not open one or more attachments. Out of memory or system...

Hello,
One of my users is getting this message whenever she opens a word document
and then trys to send it. "Could not open one or more attachments. Out of
memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again".
She is using a brand new Dell, pentium4, with 500 megs of RAM. The message
pops up regardles of how many programs or windows she has open.
The interesting part is that she can open outlook and attach the file and
send it without any problems, but when she opens the document first and then
tries to send it from there, the problems appears.
Oh, and restarting the computer does not help.
Any ideas, any suggestions???
Thanks for all your help.

Tell her to increase her virtual memory. It's in the properties of My
Computer, click the Advanced tab and then the Performance Options button. In
the middle of the window that comes up, she should click the Change... button
for virtual memory. The recommended amount for 512 MB RAM is 766 for initial
and maximum size but I have mine set to double my RAM. This may require a
reboot when she is done.

Did you try clearing the Office Clipboard cache (it is separate of the
clipboard provided with Windows)? Edit -> Office Clipboard -> Clear All.

A search at Microsoft's own support knowledgebase
(http://support.microsoft.com/) shows some possible articles, like those
found by searching on the "out of memory or system resources", exact phrase,
when selecting Outlook 2003 as the product, like:
