Hi All,

I'm trying to Run Windows XP Embedded from Virtual PC.
1. I made Windows XP Pro loading in Virtual PC from first partition.
2. Created new partition, formatted it for NTFS
3. copied tap.exe utility to XP Pro running in Virtual PC
4. Imported the generated .pmq file to Target Designer for "Advanced Set Top
Box" and resulted in one error (the importation succeedes for 64 drivers for
65 devices)

error text value is:
"could not find a driver for Generic volume (STORAGE\Volume)"

Can somone give me direction what can I do.

I'm trying to do this stuff on Dell Inspiron 5100 Notebook

The general rule with XPe is 'don't panic, try it anyway'. It'll
probably all work fine, I've been told someone's got XPe running under
VPC on a mac... which I'm *very* tempted to do now...

Of the three components named "Disk Drive" under Hardware->Devices->Disk
Drives, use the 2nd one.
