corrupted recycle bin

Hi group,
I'm having an occasional problem, and need your help. When I run Window
Washer, I sometimes get an error message that my recycle bin is
corrupted....

How do you fix a corrupted recycle bin? I heard somewhere that you can
delete the recycle bin, and Windows will simply create a new one. Is that
the fix here?

I am running Win XP Pro.
