Hi group,
I am getting an error message that tells me my recycle bin is corrupted; Is
there a way to fix this? Can I delete the recycle bin, and if I do that,
does Windows recreate another recycle bin?

I am running Win XP Pro.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Jeff

Thanks for the useful links although, I still have'nt been able to
come up with recycler fix and it is disconcerting. I'm running WinXP,
SP1; have an 80G NTFS drive; and "subst c: f:\" in a startup folder
BAT file. The SUBST seems important. I've done this because windows
named an old 2G SCSI drive "C" and a big RAID "F".

Running registry hacks did not seem to produce any effect although I
was once able to delete F:\RECYCLER\ In the registery, there were
three refrences to the key kellys-korner-xp
(http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_qr.htm#rb) mentioned. This first
two were under CLSID but different roots.

..........So, Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'll be
sure to post if I find any fix elsewhere. Thanks,
Nick

Another behavior of note here is one or two items can be restored,
more than that and I see them for a spli second then the Recycle Bin
refreshes and all files are gone. Windows asks wether or not to delete
3, 40 or all these itesm.
Thanks,

I think there might be a suggestion at www.kellys-korner-xp.com. This is a
very good web site to turn to. Good job, Kelly!!!
