Corrupt Outlook Data File?

M

Michael

Hello -
I have an employee that is experiencing something strange with her 2003
Outlook. Every time she opens Outlook it tries to do a send/receive. It
never finishes because it tries send 4 messages that are nowhere to be found.
It will continue the send/receive as long as you leave Outlook open.

I've tried doing a repair. I've also reinstalled Office. Still the same
problem. I can only assume it must be something in the data file, but how
can I repair this? It causes her Outlook to stop responding sometimes and
has become quite a headache.

Thanks for the advice!

You can try a popular Outlook recovery tool called Advanced Outlook
Repair to repair your PST file. It is a powerful tool to recover
messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft
Outlook PST files.

Detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair can be found at
http://www.datanumen.com/aor/

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe
Good luck!

That was it! I sorta had the feeling they were read receipts, but I had no
idea how to find and delete them. Thanks so much. That's a pretty handy
tool.
