I asked this in the media player newsgroup but didn't get an answer, so I
apologize if this is a completely wrong place to ask this. I didn't have
this issue til XP2.
When I add files from my music folder to the media player, they come in
corrupt. It is not one particular song; it is anything that I've tried to
add in the last couple of days. The file size is normal when I look at it
in My Music folder. For example: an .mp3 file shows the size of 3,500 kb
in the folder. When I add it to the media player library, it comes in as
13,875 kb. There is no sound when I attempt to play this.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?
