Some one told me to install windows on a new HD and disable the old ones.
Then after a clean install re-enable the old ones to recover some of the data
on them. After witch if that works to save data format the bad ones and
reverse the process.

If that dont work..I think that I might have to format the HD's and start
over.

Or does anyone think that it might be worth $$ it to Call microsoft Tech
support. with the chance that I will end up in the same place.!!!

If the F6 option is not reading the floppy, to enable you to install sata /
raid drivers from floppy then either
1) the floppy is faulty, or connector is loose
2) you are not hitting F6 early enough
3) your mobo / controler has a problem

Try booting from a bootable floppy, www.bootdisk.com has such if you dont
have one, if it boots at least you know floppy & connectors are ok

F6 works and it reads the floppy. then I hit continue. and windows finishes.
but still same problem. No HD's installed. I dont understand that because,
if I load from the HD's windows starts to boot. Frustrated.......

there might be an option
for you to get more help
or get more advice.

not everyone knows that
microsoft provides 2 free
technical support tickets
involving issues with windows,
unless it is an oem.

if you have not used any of them
then you should exercise this
option and open a service ticket.

essentially, the microsoft technician
should be advised that you cannot
repair your operating system with
your windows cd.

this is beneficial for both you
and microsoft because it may
provide them with new information
about flaws to review and fixes
the future.

go to microsoft.com for customer
support if you haven't used your
free service.
