Corrupt directory access rights?

In sorting out a recent IE problem i discovered the following issue when
viewing Temporary Internet file contents via Windows Explorer:
- I have 4 accounts set up on the PC; all with Admin rights.
- Each account cannot see the sub-directories within its own Temporary
Internet Files folder, but can see the sub-directories of all the other
accounts Temporay Internet Files folder.
Instead of seeing its own sub directories, you see a list of urls in the
'right hand screen' of Windows Explorer.
e.g Logged on as Account1:
....\.Documetns and Settings\Account1\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files, you cannot see any sub directories in the left hand screen of Windows
Explorer. In the rights hand screen you see lists of accessed urls in the
format: Name / Network Address / Type / Size etc.
........\.Documetns and Settings\Account2\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\ you can see (and access) all the usual sub directories created by IE.

If you then switch to Account 2 you see the reverse to the above in Windows
Explorer:
...\Account1\..\Temporary Internet Files you can see (and access) all the sub
directories, whereas ..\Account2\..\Temporary Internet Files has no sub
directories listed and you get a list of urls instead.

All directories are set to show all hidden and system files.
If i create a new account the same applies as above, ie cannot see its own
Temporary Internet Folder sub directories.
I am convinced i do not have a virus on my PC. I have Norton anti-virus
since i bought the PC, with latest updates applied, i have run SpyBot and
Ad-Aware, all showing clean, and i have followd guides on Internet for
checking other types of virus - all of which show no virus found.
My PC is running XP Home Edition, with IE6.2 SP2.

Anyone got any ideas of what is going on?

Nothing wrong here - that's the way TIF works.
