Sorry if this is the wrong area for this question.

I have a computer which every few days after booting up
fine, will develop corrupt boot files. I then have to boot
of the XP CD and run CHKDSK /r from the console. This is
always corrects it but a few days later the boot up files
have been corrupted again.

Does anyone know a cause for this? The HDD checks out ok
and the memory has been tested with MEMTEST86.Any helpp is
greatly appreciated.

Do it particularly if you are using an Nvidia motherboard.
