Correction about cd-rom

Apparently, it just says "no dic detected" or something
along those lines. I sounds like it reads it, but nothing
happens. For some reason, even the disc detector says no
disc. I hope this helps.

Hi dan,
It looks like the CD rom lens has failed - hardware problem.
You need to call dell.
