Cd rom drive

I'm having a hard time getting my cd-rom drive to work. I
just put a cd in and for some reason, it's not working.
It's worked everyday i've had my computer (that was a year
ago) and all of a sudden nothing. It makes the sounds like
it's reading it, but then says please put acd in drive.
I've tried driver cd-roms, audio disks, and some other
types of dics and nothing is being read. when i go into
properties, it says it's working properly. when i
troubleshoot, it dosnt give me an answer. Whats the deal?
i've re-installed drivers and that dosen't so anything
either.

Any help? Oh yeah, it's a dell cd-rom that came with the
computer.

Call Dell - you're probably still under warranty. Sounds like the drive
went bad and they should replace it.
