Correct icons not appearing in the Start Menu.

When I go into the Start Menu, I see My Pictures, My Music, and My Documents.
The correct icon for My Documents shows, which is the little piece of paper
in the folder. But, for some reason, My Pictures and My Music do not have
correct icons - all they have is a plain folder. How do I make the icons go
back to normal?
 
Start. Control panel., Folder options. File types. Scroll to the folder
you want to change, MP3 probably for music, JPG probably for pictures.
Click advanced, click change icon and assign what ever you would like.
Repeat as needed with other folders.

Question: One of my special folders (e.g. My Documents, My Music, My

Answer: This problem can occur if the hidden desktop.ini file in the special
folder is corrupt or missing. Here are the steps to fix this problem:
