How do I get 'My Pictures' folder back?

I have accidentally deleted 'My Pictures' folder out of 'My Documents'. It
has also gone off the start menu (I use the XP style one, not the 'Classic'
Start Menu.

How can I make a new one?

I'm just being fussy really because I have on my D: drive - My Music (with
the proper Music icon) and My Videos (with the proper video icon).

Any help would be much apprieciated.

The easiest thing to do is a System Restore to before you had the
accident.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

Will that work? My understanding is SR only restores system state, not
user state.

It should work because My Docs/My Pictures are system files. It worked
yesterday for my friend who had not understood the whole copying disk
procedure and tried to drag her Adobe Elements contents from Program
files into the cd-rw drive and wound up copying tons of files and
breaking Elements.

So that's why I suggested the OP try a System Restore first. If it
didn't work, no harm done.
