Copying profiles

Hi,

I am having a problem where I copy my profile to the default profile. The
problem is that there is one program a educational one that when I copy the
profile to the default and then log in as administrator and delete my profile
( so I will ge thte default) it stops working. . If any one has the solution
or suggestions to this problem that would be great.

It's probable that the app is being deleted when you delete the current admin
profile. That account installed it. You probably need to create a third
account as a 'holding device'.
I always think of it like the game of musical chairs. There are A,
B(default), and TEMP. (TEMP must be an admin account, so the default
"Administrator" account would work. You see it on the Welcome screen in Safe
Mode.) Log on as TEMP, copy A to B, create C. Log on as C. Test. Delete A.

The profile that I have installed it to never gets deleted in the process I
copy the profile that has the program installed to the default. Then log on
with a diffrent users than the other two to get the default profile. Even
doing this the app will not run correctly. It asks me to install and if I hit
cancel three or four time when it trys to install then the program begins to
work.

What you just posted is the exact opposite of your original post. Perhaps
someone else will understand what you are doing. Good Luck
