Copying personal CDs with misc songs

I have many CDs I have made on another computer, on
which I put whatever songs I wanted on them. When I try
to copy them in WMP 9.0, they copy fine. Only problem is,
it thinks they are all from the same CD. For example, if
I identify one song as from a Norah Jones album, it
assumes all of them are from the same Norah Jones album.
If I try to manually change a different song to another,
it changes all the songs I just copied. They all seem to
be "linked", in other words. I tried deleting them and
then putting them back on, but the computer still "knew"
that CD was whatever I told them it was. Does anyone have
any advice?

Invest in Nero. WMP is not exactly the world's best burning software.
