Copying Greek words from one program to Word in Office 2000

What could be the problem that Word in Office 2000 doesn't accept the Greek
words copied and pasted from another program?

Hi G,

You don't give us many hints...
"Doesn't accept" means "doesn't paste anything"? Or does it paste symbols?
or boxes? or latin characters?
What is the program you are pasting from? What font does that program use?
