copying from computer to digital camera tape

I have edited and finished my movie in movie maker and attempting to copy it
back to my camera tape and get an unsucessful report. It states that the tape
may have come to an end. After closing up and viewing results on tape it
shows big gaps and than stills more gaps and more stills all the way through.
Am i missing a setting that will cure this problem?

What are your pc specs?
It sounds like it may not be able to cope with the process.

Are you exporting direct from the timeline? If so, make a dv-avi file first,
import this to the timeline and try again.

This should help as well, as things like the anti-virus checking may
interupt the process

I tried what you asked and got the same results. I swithched cameras and
imported another small movie and when copied the same results oonly big gaps
and stills no audio. It must be coming from the computer settings not a
camera or film problem. By the way days ago I got aclean transfer. when I
tried again this occured. It's almost as if the computer is spreading the
movie over ten times as much tape instead of efficiently recording.
