Copying from a PDF to a Word Doc. unable to enter text

Word has no facility to read or write PDF files. The only possibilities are
to use OCR software to convert it. Abbyy Finereader's form filling tool or
print it out and scan it as a background image to build a form over using
tables. Note that many such forms - especially employment application
forms - are *intended* to be hand written so that prospective employers can
analyse your hand writing. Any form so intended will be discarded if it is
typewritten.

I copied a form from a pdf file into Word so I would be able to type in the
boxes. I did not have this option with the pdf, and I am still unable to do
so. I thought that in Word, I could somehow manipulate it, and would be able
to enter text.

Suggestions?

Thx,

Hello:

I am not a Word expert, however, I don't think you can do that. PDF
permissions are granted by the author of the pdf document and they are
independent of MS Word.

Buy Acrobat and add textboxes to the document. (You just have to decide
whether it's worth ~$475 and a couple of hours work to fill out a single
form one time.)
