I have placed a new hard drive in my computer as the system drive. Before
doing so, I moved ALL of the data from the old system drive over to an
external drive.

I copied it all - program files, data, etc.

Now that I have installed Outlook on my new hard drive, I need to get my
email account settings and email rules moved into the new Outlook.

Where do I look for those files? I should be able to copy them from the
external hard drive right over to the new drive.

Email Accounts are stored in the registry, since you have changed the sys
drive I'm not sure whether they are recoverable.
Copying program files does nothing to help in reinstalling a program &
cannot be used to recover a program.

All mail & associated data & rules are contained in the *pst file. Importing
data will lose the settings.

move the old data
