copying drop-down lists..help

I have a spreadsheet which has drop-down lists in some fields. I tried to
copy and paste parts of the spreadsheet to another worksheet but could not
get the drop-down lists to work on the copied sheets...all i got were drop
down fields with no lists inside.

How can I copy segments of the original and break it up so the copied parts
will work as the original does?

The dropdown lists may be cells that have Data>Validation applied, and
refer to a range of cells on the same sheet. For example: =$A$1:$A$6

If you name the cells that contain the list of options, you can refer to
the list in dropdowns on other worksheets. For example: =CustomerList

Hi Plato
the dropdown listboxes probably reference a list on the current
spreadsheet. Select such a cell and goto 'Data - validation' and check
what list range theses dropdowns reference.
