Copying data from Access to Excel

I'm copying a few records at a time from Access to Excel,
using CTRL-C and CTRL-V. When I do this once, it works
fine. When I go back to Access to do it again, however,
and hit CTRL-C, the status bar at the bottom says "copying
in progress", but nothing else happens. I have to exit
Access completely, open it up again, and do the copy
command. So, each time I copy, I have to close down
Access. What's up with that?
 
I've never heard of this problem, but Access exports
directly to Excel via Tools, Office Links, Analyze it With
Excel. If you don't want the whole table, construct a
query with your selection criteria.
