Copying/Burning to CDs?

Please don't flame me for asking this question again, as I was unable to
access my computer for any answers when I first posted to the list. Could
someone please tell me how I can do multiple sessions of copying/burning
data files to CDs, without the CD becoming write protected after the first
session? I have Nero Burning system, but it doesn't go into specifics of
how to carry out multiple sessions. Sorry if I sound like a nitwit, but
this is my first venture into copying/burning to CDs. TIA. Eleanor Ferrari.

I collect enough stuff (close to 700 Mb-not long or hard to add up) to burn
in a single session as my Veritas system does the same.
