Copying and pasting from email

When I copy and paste from eMail, it always looks like this:

Can you feel it; the balance between light and
dark, day and night?
This moment of perfect balance; it does not last.
The Wheel of the Year
circles round and round, and we continue to
journey into the dark. The
autumnal equinox occurred at about 5:5o this
morning. I think the
precise timing of the equinox actually depends a
bit on where you are.

How can I get it formatted normally?
