Copy User Profile on Win2000

I am making an image of a Win2000 machine and I will be
using it for a multiple of machines. I have tried to copy
the entire profile folder but it doesn't help. I would
think if I make a folder with the structure of the new
signon and copy all the contents from the one I already
configure they would be the same. But when I log on as
the new user it acts like I never did the copy of the
profile folder. Any ideas?

Create a local user as an admin account (call it 'localadmin'), configure
your profile as you need it.

Log out, log back in as administrator.

Copy the localadmin's profile to 'default user' - this will ensure that all
successive logins by new users will receive the same settings as your
'master' account (you can delete the account after your done copying the
information).
