I currently have a large database that 6 users share. They would like to be
able to copy data from one cell to multiple cells, is there an easy way of
doing this? e.g. In excel they would drag the field to copy the contents,
this is what they would like to do in Access.
I have setup the database but I am only a basic user. Your help would be
appreciated.

When using a datasheet, you can copy the contents of the "cell" above by
using Ctrl+". That's the Control key plust the double-quote key. Then use
the down arrow to move down. This works in Excel too.

Before you encourage this type of activity, you should discuss with your
users why they want to duplicate data. One of the benefits that Access
provides over Excel is the ability to put data in one time and use it in
many places. A properly structured database will typically not contain
duplicate rows.

If your users want to avoid rekeying some data you should look into lookup
fields and drop down lists
