Copy contact info

I have two personal folders open in Outlook, one is older,
the other is active.

I want to copy the CONTACT folder from the older PST into
the new one. I can copy it, but it either copies into a
subfolder of CONTACTS or I have to put it into a new
folder with a name other than CONTACTS (such as
CONTACTS1). I want the CONTACTS folder from the older pst
to be my new CONTACTS folder with the CONTACTS name.

Since this is a "required" folder, I cannot just delete
the empty CONTACT folder from the new pst file and rename
the CONTACTS1 folder to CONTACTS.

Does this make sense? Does anyone have any suggestions??

Many thanks in advance.

Open the contact folder you want to copy from and select all. Right click
and drag to the contact destination folder, release the mouse button and
either choose copy or move. I use copy just to make sure that everything
moved, then I go back and select all again and delete.
