Copy and paste issue

I'm using a dell laptop and a external keyboard the issue is when I use the
copy and past function and go to a word document and past the text it will
paste the print screen feature can any one help

Most of the times that I try to copy and paste something I get a screen
capture instead. I have tried all methods of copying and pasting including:

Shortcuts: Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V
Menu: Edit-Copy and Edit-Paste
Mouse right click: copy and paste

Almost everytime I get a screen capture instead of what I want to copy.
Additionally, when I open the Windows XP clipbook viewer it shows a screen
shot instead of the "text."

I feel your pain with the copy/paste screen capture problem. I was plagued
with this too. I think it may be a virus of some sort.

My latest progress on this issue came about a week ago when I tried turning
off my "System Restore" and having all my restore points deleted. Virus
checkers and the spyware programs can't scan and clean the system restore
files. Then I ran both SpyBot and AdAware. So far I have been free of the
problem.
