Coordinating photos with exact place in music

I am using WMM to make a movie (have made several) but this time I would like
to coordinate photos (not film) with exact seconds in the music that will be
playing in the background.

Does anyone have any easy tips to do this? I have "zoomed" in but find
"pulling" the edge of the photos very tedious and not exacting.

Would appreciate any help.

If it is just photos & music then try Photo Story 3.

With PS3 you have much better control over picture durations.
I match images to the music perfectly all the time with it.
