A warning event notification pop up keeps telling me
that "a cooling device has exceeded a non-critical
threshold." Does anyone know what this means or how I
can fix it? Thanks!

A fan may have stopped working. Consult your mb and or graphics adapter
manual for details.

My brother in law had the same problem and we took the fan
out and cleaned it and it worked fine.

It's also possible that you have a system hardware monitor utility
sensing a non-existent fan, and reporting what it finds - nothing. Check
the settings, just in case. These utilities generally come with 'newer'
motherboards.
