Cookie Spam

Jack Nation

These same files, listed below, get onto my hard drive every time I visit
the internet. They seem to cause Advertisements to come up on my computer
later. If I set my browser to prompt me for every Cookie, I am bogged down
for a long time on the internet. Anyone know what I can do to stop these
listed files without stopping all Cookies?

C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\jack@advertising[1].txt
C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\ jack@atdmt[2].txt
C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\jack@doubleclick[1].txt
C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\[email protected][2].txt
C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\jack@trafficmp[2].txt
C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Cookies\jack@valueclick[1].txt


NOTE: Possible Browser Hijack attempt Object recognized!
Type : File Data : yellow pages - infospace.com.url

All above data from running Adaware.

To: r. I couldn't locate the setting to enable the Adaware spyware feature
you mentioned. Please help.

Adaware could actively watch for spyware activities. Just enable the feature.

Also, use Immunize feature of Spybot-S&D. See here for more info:

It's on the pay version, not the fee one.
