Cookie Issues

Tuesday, my cookie handling went haywire. IE suddenly set
all cookies to blocked and a few other things. I got IE
straightened out, but one of my other browsers (Opera 7.20)
is also having problems with cookies. I feel like my IT
support people pushed a policy down to my machine that is
affecting cookie management, but it seems to me that
something else strange is going on. The problem has only
been found on one website (Ebay) and manifests itself as a
cookie that continuously grows in size until Ebay will no
longer respond. I initially thought that it was an Ebay
issue, but this same issue does not arise on other machines
I use that are not managed by my work IT personnel.

Any thoughts?

Speaking as one of those "IT people" why don't you just call your helpdesk
and ask them? Are you afraid they might not appreciate that you are surfing
so much on company time?
