Converting previously saved items to a new custom form

Hi!

I need to convert previously created contacts from IPM.Contact to
IPM.Contact.myContact. I have my custom form as the default form on
an Exchange 2K public folder only allowing my custom form to be
created in this folder.

I thought that simply dragging and dropping IPM.Contact items to a
folder set to allow only IPM.Contact.myContact items would convert
them to my form on the fly. Instead I get the message, "Cannot copy
the items. You cannot post this form to this public folder. See the
public folder contact."

My question: How can I convet items from IPM.Contact to
IPM.Contact.myContact?

No, you must explicitly change the value of the MessageClass property for

several tools and scripts to accomplish this.
