Convert Word heading titles to Excel Spreadsheet

To make my life easier, I am trying to figure out if there is an easy way to
convert a Table of Contents in Word to a table format. I need a table that
will automatically convert and populate the heading (and sub-heading)
numbers, the heading title, and the page number onto an excel spreadsheet.
If it's easier to convert the table of contents to just a word table, that
would be great too. Is there a macro or some type of function that will
allow me to do this quickly without manually typing in the heading number,
heading title, and page number?
