convert/copy local profile to Roaming, got a few questions:

Hi group,

We have decided to switch from local profiles to Roaming profiles and
if I understand well the users will keep all their settings during the
process.

My biggest question is what exactly is stored in roaming profiles and
does anybody know some good sites with some information about
converting from local profiles to roaming?

It is VERY simple. Just change the User's Profile property
setting (in AD Users/Computers) to an accessible share\directory,
then have the user Logon AND OFF from their 'favorite'*
machine.

The local profiles they currently use will be copied as the
initial roaming profile.

Therefore it is ESSENTIAL that the 'next logon' be from the
specific machine where each user considers the 'correct profile'
to be located.
