controler prob

hi

my game pad (ms sidewinder freestyle pro) is used for win 95/98 i have win
2000 pro now but it will not load dose any one know how to get round this
problem is there any updates in softw

The old game port style controllers cannot be "installed" using the original
software. With the controller connected, go into Control Panel/Game
Controllers and Add the controller. Windows XP will install the basic
drivers for you.
