control panel - Icons - Access - denied

Hi,

No Icons on the control panel open when clicked. It says "Access to
specified device,path, or file is denied" When I right click on
desktop and choose "Properties", the same message, "Access to
specified device
path file is denied" appears. Please Help.. anyone...

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to what ever version of
Windows you're running (they start microsoft.public.win2000,
microsoft.public.win95, microsoft.public.win98, microsoft.public.windowsme,
microsoft.public.windowsnt or microsoft.public.windowsxp)

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product.
