Control Panel Hangs in XP Pro

I have an IBM TP41p, brand new with Windows XP Pro. The
Control Panel refuses to operate except for Adding and
Removing Program. Clicking on anything else cause the
system to hang and the hour glass to just run. When I
shut the Control Panel down I receive and error message
stating the Control Panel Is Not Responding. Does anyone
know of a fix?

Hi,

Go to Search and type in: *.cpl. From there you will have to test each to
pinpoint the problematic one. Good luck!

Suggestion:

Restore the Control Panel (Line 256)
